Be Curious

Over twenty fulfilling years in the corporate world gave me a pleasure of working in a variety of roles: from marketing and sales, to communication and PR to corporate strategy. During this time I was fortunate to work with international teams, leading people and managing  projects across cultures and expertise areas: healthcare, automation & drive, financial services among others.

As a certified leadership coach I found my calling in helping executives and their teams achieve their full potential. Specializing in professional development, change management, and talent development, I am curious about people, about seeing each individual for who they really are. I partner with my clients to empower growth mindset and bring their full potential to life.

For me, people come first.

About Process Communication Model®

The Process Communication Model Teaches Adaptive Communication Skills. One of the most powerful aspects of PCM is its adaptive nature. Since each person has different natural preferences when it comes to how they receive information, it is crucial to be able to deliver the message in a manner that fits the preferred style of the recipient. In addition, since situations vary from calm to high stress, it is important to be able to adapt communications styles to best fit a given situation.

PCM provides an extensive understanding of how to assess other people’s preferred style and then adapt your style to one that will be most effective in connecting with them. Here are some of the core concepts of PCM:

  • PCM fundamentals – (I’m OK/You’re OK, Base, Phase, Behavioral Masks, etc.)

  • 6 Personality Types

  • Assessment based on real-time words/behaviors

  • Develop multiple styles of communication

  • Adapt communication style naturally based on real-time ques and signals

  • Identify Predictable Distress Patterns and learn the skills to diffuse the situation so you can offer an invitation back into a productive dialogue.

The ability to Predict Human Behavior is a unique and compelling advantage for the Process Communication Model. This predictability is one of the reasons that NASA found PCM effective for the selection, training and placement of their Space Shuttle astronauts. The foundation for PCM comes out of observing the human interactions of thousands of people engaged in communication over many years. Results have been validated over 40 years in Fortune 500 companies, Universities, leading organizations such as NASA and among clinicians and psychologists.

The core of PCM’s value is to coach people to develop a foundation of Adaptive Communications Skills. These skills empower people to build Positive Personal Connections even in challenging situations and with people who appear to be difficult to manage. The end result of building strong, healthy interpersonal relationships is that it helps build Personal Power which, in turn, builds Organizational Power.

The PCM model reveals that effective communication only occurs when we engage other people in a way that works for “them”. And, by nature, we tend to communicate in a way that works for “us”. Since most people are born with different preferences, the result is a lot of miscommunication and distressed relationships. As such, PCM results in people developing a better understanding of themselves and others and learning how to unlock and build dormant skills that have not yet been awakened. These new skills help them uncover the motivations and preferences of others and adapt their own style to more effectively engage others.

PCM focuses on the mastery of 5 fundamental set of communication skills required to adapt and connect with all types of people. The 5 sets of adaptive communications skills are:

  • Learning Skills - Learn the 6 core personality types we all possess in different energies, their unique strengths, predictable behaviors, and communication preferences.

  • Assessing Skills – Through active observation and listening techniques, accurately assess other people’s preferred communication style and their unique motivational needs

  • Adapting Skills – Learn to naturally adapt your communication and leadership style to fit the preference of others, resulting in more effective communication and stronger personal connections

  • Predicting Skills – Using a validated methodology for predicting human behavior, learn how to predict a breakdown in communication & what unmet needs are driving the behavior

  • Resolution Skills – Learn the precise techniques to diffuse tension and resolve conflict with all personality types and how to re-engage them in a healthy and productive dialogue
